Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was worth what we paid for but showed signs of being run down. The beds were uncomfortable, and the air conditioner needed to be turned off for better sleep. The staff, particularly at the front desk, were initially rude and made a mistake with my room, but eventually rectified it. The location was ideal for our purpose, being not far from where we needed to be and offering easy access to the city and waterfront. The dining options had a decent selection with well-prepared food, especially in Fenians, although there were no in-house movies available.
The hotel offers clean and well-priced rooms stocked by the staff, but falls short on some essential aspects resulting in discomfort during the stay. The service is top-notch with lovely staff and fantastic amenities. The location is perfect for easy access to waterfront attractions. The dining experience is highlighted by fresh food, though impacted by current restrictions. Overall, a decent option with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The lack of windows and poor lighting in the rooms was a shocker, and even after changing rooms, the issue of insufficient lighting persisted. However, the service provided by the staff was exceptional, they really went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even upgraded our booking. The location was great, meeting our needs perfectly. The dining experience had its hits and misses but the staff's friendliness stood out. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout positives.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, offering easy access to various attractions and transport options. The rooms, while meeting basic expectations for the price, could use some upgrades, especially in the bathrooms. The service was friendly and efficient, although there seemed to be a lack of supervision in some areas. The dining experience was exceptional with a diverse and delicious spread of food. Overall, a good value for the money with some room for improvement.
The hotel room had a musty smell, which made all our clothes smell, even the ones that weren't worn. Despite that, the room was ready, spacious, clean, modern, quiet, well-appointed, and smart, except for the 'shower over bath' setup that showed the age of the property. The hotel staff were pleasant and explained their policies well, except for a mix-up with the bed configuration. The location was rundown, but the views across the river were spectacular. The dining experience was fantastic, albeit busy and understaffed at times. Overall, the hotel offers value for money with heaps of dining variety and efficient staff.
